Taxonomic / nomenclatural notes: • T. uncinata (Voigt, 1902) after Sharma et al. (2015) [Ref.27155]; T. siamensis Segers & Pholpunthin after Sharma & Sharma (2015) [Ref.27205], Sharma et al. (2016) [Ref.27247], Sharma & Sharma (2019) [Ref.27373], Sharma & Sharma (2021) [Ref.27428].
• The original spelling Trichocerca simonei is incorrect. As a noun in the genitive case, the personal (female) name requires an ending of -ae (dedicated to Simone Van Raemdonck) (ICZN Art. 31.1). • No type designated in original publication, but syntypes are cited to exist (Segers, 1990:117) [Ref.11839]. • According to Sanoamuang & Savatenalinton (2001) [Ref.17524] "It should be noted that the unidentified Trichocerca sp. in Sanoamuang et al. (1995, Figs 27–30) is in fact a variant specimen of Trichocerca simonei." |
