Permanency: perennial	Elevation: 494 m a.s.l.	Description: 1930 to 1940ies: Altitude 1640 feet. Length about 5 Km. A long pond of irregular outline, formed by damming the Tobyhanna Creek. Surrounded by hilly wooded country. Water brownish, somewhat turbid. Principal aquatics, Najas flexilis, Myriophyllum humile, large patches; Nitella flexilis, large patches; Potamogeton epihydrus, Fontinalis novae-angliae, adhering to submerged stumps and rocks; F. disticha, Sphagnum subsecundum, Drepanocladus exannulatus, large patches, and Eleocharis acicularis lining certain areas of the shore. This sedge becomes detached and wind-blown, forming floating patches along the shore which become excellent associations in which to collect rotifers. Average pH, 6.4.
