Description: Der Autobahnsee in Wals-Viehhausen hat seinen Namen aus der Entstehung. Beim Autobahnbau benötigte man Schotter. Diesen holte man sich in Viehhausen, und der Moorsee entstand. Das Gewässer hat eine Fläche von 80.000 m² und wird vom Grundwasser gespeist. Heute befindet er sich in Privatbesitz, darf aber zum Angeln und Baden benutzt werden. Der Pächter und Angellizenzausgeber ist der Heeressportverein Wals, Sektion Sportfischen. Vorkommende Fischarten sind Karpfen, Schleie, Hecht, Amur, Waller, Zander, Brachse, Stör und Aal.
